The Seattle Seahawks lost their preseason opener at home to the Indianapolis Colts, 17-19. In the losing effort, Austin Davis and Alex McGough combined for 99 passing yards, zero touchdowns and one interception. Chris Carson led the Seahawks with 26 rushing yards on four attempts while David Moore and Nick Vannett combined for 55 receiving yards and one touchdown on four receptions. Shaquem Griffin led the Seahawks with nine tackles, Rasheem Green had 1.5 sacks and Delano Hill had two tackles for loss. The Seahawks may have been on the losing side of their opening preseason game, but the defense allowed just 2.3 yards per carry and produced three sacks and six tackles for loss. The Seahawks backup offense didn’t do much of anything, but it was nice to see this squad stick to its roots and come up big defensively. That has to give the Seahawks some sort of confidence knowing that this team will still play with that physical mentality despite so many moving parts. The Seattle Seahawks have won seven of their last nine preseason games..

The Los Angeles Chargers lost their preseason opener on the road to the Arizona Cardinals, 17-24. In the victory, Geno Smith and Cardale Jones combined for 268 passing yards, one touchdown and one interception. Austin Ekeler led the Chargers with 22 rushing yards on five attempts while Geremy Davis and Artavis Scott combined for 122 receiving yards and one touchdown on nine receptions. Isaac Rochell led the Chargers with four tackles, Uchenna Nwosu had one sack and Brandon Facyson had one interception. The Chargers lost a game despite having 12 more first downs, controlling the ball for 11 more minutes and running 28 more plays. If you had the Chargers and the points last week like I did, you have to feel a bit cheated. However, that game proved that turnovers are often the deciding factor in the game of football, and it’s tough to win at any level of this game when you cough up the ball four times. The Los Angeles Chargers have lost six of their last seven preseason games.

The Seahawks are 4-1-1 ATS in their last 6 road games and 2-6-1 ATS in their last 9 games on grass. The Chargers are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 home games, 6-2 ATS in their last 8 games on grass and 2-8 ATS in their last 10 Saturday games. The underdog is 5-0 ATS in their last 5 meetings.

The Los Angeles Chargers would have easily won their preseason opener if it weren't for the four turnovers, and their backups played well. The Seahawks were awful offensively regardless of who was in the game, and there's no reason to expect things being any different unless Russell Wilson is going to play the bulk of the game. Um, he won't. The Chargers haven't had the best preseason track record the last three years, but this feels like a game where guys will redeem themselves. Besides, the Chargers need to put on a show if there's any chance of winning over some fans, as last year was embarrassing with the home games feeling like away games. They can start to make beleivers in games like this. I'll take the points.

The Chicago Bears will be looking for their first win of the preseason after falling to 0-2 with a 30-27 loss to Cincinnati in their last outing. Tyler Bray led the Bears with 219 passing yards and a pick on 18 of 27 passing while Chase Daniel threw for 76 yards and an interception on 8 of 12 passing. Mitch Trubisky threw for just 4 yards in limited action. Ryan Nall led Chicago with 9 carries for 95 yards while Taquan Mizzell turned his team-high 12 carries into 27 yards and a touchdown and DeMarcus Ayers added a touchdown of his own in the loss. Daniel Brown led the Bears with 90 receiving yards on 5 catches while Tanner Gentry hauled in a team-high 6 receptions. Kyle Fuller recorded a 47-yard pick-six while John Timu and Deiondre’ Hall shared the team lead with 6 tackles each.

The Denver Broncos will also be looking for their first win of the preseason after losing their opener by a final score of 42-28 last time out. Chad Kelly led the Broncos with 177 yards, 2 touchdowns and an interception on 14 of 21 passing while Paxton Lynch and Case Keenum combined to go 7 of 15 passing for 29 yards and an interception. Royce Freeman led the Broncos with 4 carries for 38 yards and a touchdown while Phillip Lindsay and Matt LaCosse each had 40 yards receiving and a touchdown, with Lindsay holding a 3-2 edge in receptions over LaCosse. Isaiah McKenzie added a 78-yard punt return TD while Zaire Anderson added an interception and Will Parks added a team-high 5 tackles and a sack in the loss.

Chicago is 5-11 ATS in their last 16 road games and 1-3-1 ATS in their last 5 games on grass while the under is 6-0 in their last 6 games overall. Denver is 1-4 ATS in their last 5 home games and 2-10 ATS in their last 12 games overall while the under is 5-2 in their last 7 games overall. Chicago is 5-0 ATS in the last 5 meetings between these two teams.

This is one of the hardest preseason games of the week to try to gauge in my opinion, as both offenses have looked decent but the problem is the defense can’t keep points off of the board which is why I’m going to side with the over. Both sides have an offense that’s capable of scoring and getting 20 points from both sides shouldn’t be overly difficult so I’ll hope for some offensive fireworks in this one.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers won their preseason opener on the road against the Miami Dolphins, 26-24. In the victory, Ryan Griffin and Jameis Winston combined for 281 passing yards, one touchdown and zero interceptions. Peyton Barber led the Buccaneers with 21 rushing yards and one touchdown on four attempts while Sergio Bailey and Cameron Brate combined for 100 receiving yards on nine receptions. Ryan Smith led the Buccaneers with seven tackles, Gerald McCoy had one sack and Isaiah Johnson had one fumble recovery. The Buccaneers moved the chains 27 times, had 399 total yards and the defense created two turnovers. It was an overall balanced performance from the Bucs, as they scored in every quarter and had three quarterbacks throw for at least 55 yards. The Buccaneers have to like what they’re at right now one week into meaningless play. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have split their last four preseason games.

The Tennessee Titans lost their preseason opener on the road to the Green Bay Packers, 17-31. In the losing effort, Luke Falk and Blaine Gabbert combined for 181 passing yards, one touchdown and zero interceptions. Akrum Wadley led the Titans with 27 rushing yards on nine attempts while Nick Williams and Devin Ross combined for 69 receiving yards on three receptions. Robert Spillane led the Titans with eight tackles, Sharif Finch had one sack and Julius Warmsley had one tackles for loss. The Titans backup defense got crushed, as they allowed 445 yards for the game and gave up 24 points in the second half. Of course, being on the field for 11 more minutes didn’t help, but few teams were worse than the Titans on the defensive side. The good news is Marcus Mariota looked extremely quick and confident out there, as he looks for this to be his breakout season. The Tennessee Titans have lost four of their last five preseason games.

The Buccaneers are 2-6-1 ATS in their last 9 road games and 1-11 ATS in their last 12 Saturday games. The Titans are 5-1-1 ATS in their last 7 home games, 1-6 ATS in their last 7 Saturday games and 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games overall. The Buccaneers are 1-5 ATS in their last 6 meetings.
I never put too much stock into one game, especially in preseason play, but you couldn’t have watched both of these teams play last week and then lay points with the Titans. The Buccaneers fly to the football defensively and have some good backups, and they seem to be giving Winston quite a workload despite being suspended for a chunk of the regular season. Mariota is going to continue being spoon fed minutes, and I’m not excited to lay chalk with most of the reps going to Falk and Gabbert. I’ll take a stab with the points here.

The San Francisco 49ers won their preseason opener at home against the Dallas Cowboys, 24-21. In the victory, C.J. Beathard and Nick Mullens combined for 322 passing yards, one touchdown and two interceptions. Raheem Mostert led the 49ers with 57 rushing yards on eight attempts while Victor Bolden Jr. and Dante Pettis combined for 107 receiving yards on four receptions. Elijah Lee led the 49ers with seven tackles, Jullian Taylor had one sack and Korey Toomer had two tackles for loss. The 49ers scored 17 second half points and got flawless play from their three quarterbacks if you’re able to overlook the two interceptions thrown. Offensively, the 49ers gashed the Cowboys with 454 yards and had 14 first downs through the air. While it was a meaningless opening preseason game and Jimmy Garoppolo is the clear starter, the 49ers were one of the more fun teams to watch last week. The San Francisco 49ers have won five of their last eight preseason games.

The Houston Texans won their preseason opener on the road against the Kansas City Chiefs, 17-10. In the victory, Brandon Weeden and Joe Webb combined for 153 passing yards, two touchdowns and zero interceptions. Webb led the Texans with 42 rushing yards on four attempts while Troymaine Pope and Braxton Miller combined for 75 receiving yards on six receptions. Kennan Gilchrist led the Texans with nine tackles, Angelo Blackson had one sack and Zach Cunningham had one interception. The Texans defense more than held its own despite allowing Kansas City to pick up first downs on 11 of its 16 third down attempts. The Texans didn’t allow a red zone touchdown and gave up just 3.2 yards per rush attempt. Hopefully at some point we get to see quarterback Deshaun Watson, as he threw just one pass in the opening exhibition game. If Watson is healthy and rust free, the Texans are a legit Super Bowl dark horse this upcoming season. The Houston Texans have won six of their last eight preseason games.

The 49ers are 6-1 ATS in their last 7 Saturday games, 4-1 ATS in their last 5 road games and 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games overall. The Texans are 0-5 ATS in their last 5 games overall. The 49ers are 3-0-1 ATS in their last 4 meetings. The over is 4-0 in 49ers last 4 Saturday games and the under is 5-1 in Texans last 6 games overall.

The San Francisco 49ers can't possibly repeat their offensive performance with their backups, especially on the road against one of the top, deeper defenses in the league. At home, you figure the Texans will give Watson more reps in this contest, as there's only one more preseason game after this when you consider starters to play the final week. The Texans can't expect Watson, who has just half a season under his belt, to be ready for the regular season when getting little preseason action. We should see a heavier dose of the star QB and Webb in this game. The Texans have three quarterbacks with starting experience, and Weeden and Webb both playerd well last week. I like the home team and the small chalk.

Woelcome Free NFL Preseason game Dallas Cowboys vs Cincinnati Bengals Online Live Streaming On Saturday, August 18,2018.

The Cincinnati Bengals won their preseason opener at home against the Chicago Bears, 30-27. In the victory, Jeff Driskel and Andy Dalton combined for 243 passing yards, three touchdowns and one interception. Clayton Fejedelem led the Bengals with 49 rushing yards on one attempt while A.J. Green and Josh Malone combined for 89 receiving yards on five receptions. Davontae Harris led the Bengals with six tackles, Geno Atkins had one sack and KeiVarae Russell had one interception. The Bengals scored at least seven points in three of the four quarters and produced 447 yards for the game. The Bengals backup defense could still use some improvement and you’d like to see the Cincy offense be more effective on third down. However, I’m sure Bengals’ fans will take a rare preseason victory given the way past exhibition games have played out. The Cincinnati Bengals have lost five of their last seven preseason games.

The Dallas Cowboys won their preseason opener on the road to the San Francisco 49ers, 21-24. In the losing effort, Cooper Rush and Mike White combined for 208 passing yards, one touchdown and zero interceptions. Bo Scarbrough led the Cowboys with 33 rushing yards and a touchdown on nine attempts while Marchie Murdock and Michael Gallup combined for 66 receiving yards and one touchdown on three receptions. Charvarius Ward led the Cowboys with five tackles, Joe Thomas had one tackle for loss and Duke Thomas had one interception. The Cowboys scored a touchdown in each of the first three quarters but were outscored 0-14 in the fourth quarter to seal their fate. The good news is the offense took care of the football, and while the defense was gashed, the Cowboys did produce five tackles for loss and create three turnovers. Despite the loss, the Cowboys showed flashes of promise with their backups. The Dallas Cowboys have split their last eight preseason games.

The Bengals are 7-3 ATS in their last 10 road games, 2-5-1 ATS in their last 8 Saturday games and 6-2 ATS in their last 8 games overall. The Cowboys are 11-24-1 ATS in their last 36 games on fieldturf, 2-5 ATS in their last 7 home games and 3-1-1 ATS in their last 5 games overall. The under is 4-1 in the last 5 meetings.

Despite the Bengals winning their preseason game and the Cowboys losing theirs, you can make an argument Dallas played better of the two teams. The Cincinnati Bengals have been a money burning team in the preseason the past few years and the Cowboys return home where they always have a packed house, preseason or not. The Cowboys will likely give their starters a few more reps on their home field and the defense should be improved with a game under their belt. I'll lay the reasonable chalk with Dallas at home. The Bengals aren't trustworthy, especially on the road.

We’ve got a California showdown coming over at LA Memorial Coliseum on Saturday as the Oakland Raiders and the Los Angeles Rams match up in NFL Week 2 preseason activity.

Oakland is fresh off a 2017 in which they went 6-10 and finished third in the AFC West. We’ll be seeing a familiar face on the sidelines in new (well, new-old) head coach Jon Gruden.

In their first preseason matchup against the Lions, the Raiders managed a 16-10 victory. Oakland QB Connor Cook went 11-for-19 for 141 yards and a TD, while RB Chris Warren rushed for 86 yards on 13 carries.

Over on the Rams’ side, they’re coming off a 11-5 mark in 2017, finishing in first place in the NFC West. LA fell in the Wild Card Playoffs to the Falcons 26-13, which brought a sudden end to a promising season.

LA fell in their first preseason game this year, getting blown out 33-7 by the Ravens. In that one, Los Angeles QB Brandon Allen finished 10-of-15 for 73 yards and a TD. John Kelly led the rushers with 77 yards on 13 carries.

The Raiders are 3-9-2 ATS in their last 14 games overall and 1-3-1 ATS in their last five games on grass. Oakland is also 1-5-1 ATS in their last seven road games and the under is 7-0 in their last seven games overall.

Meanwhile, the Rams are 4-11-1 ATS in their last 16 road games and 1-4 ATS in their last five overall. LA is 0-5 ATS in their last five Saturday games and 0-4 ATS in their last four games on grass.

This is kind of a weird matchup—even for the preseason—since these teams will meet again in a few weeks for their regular season openers on “Monday Night Football.” As such, expect to see players on both sides that even the most dedicated fan will have trouble identifying, and plenty of vanilla plays and formations. This is probably not one to mess with, but I’m thinking the Raiders are a little further along with their deeper players and should eke one out here.
